Our Story

As passionate ultra runners ourselves, we experienced firsthand the challenges of tracking nutrition, hydration, pace, and countless other variables during races that can last over 24 hours.

We were meticulously recording everything in spreadsheets, notebooks, and various apps, but struggled to see the connections between all this data. We knew there had to be a better way to understand what was working and what wasn't.

During a particularly challenging 100-mile race in the mountains, where one of us bonked at mile 70 despite careful planning, we realized we needed a tool specifically designed for ultra running crews. That night, huddled around a campfire at an aid station, the idea for UltraCrew was born.

We set out to create the tool we wished we had during our races—a comprehensive platform that would help crews collect, analyze, and act on race data in real-time.

We wanted to connect all the dots between nutrition, hydration, pace, terrain, weather, and how a runner feels throughout an ultra marathon. By understanding these connections, runners and crews could make better decisions during races.

After months of development and testing, UltraCrew has been launched for beta testing. Today, we're proud to offer a tool that's helping ultra runners around the world achieve their goals and push their limits safely. We are looking for experienced ultra runners and crew members to test UltraCrew and provide feedback.
